Hey, I'm new and i'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I recently fell victim to a paypal scam and they completely rinsed me, I have however gotten it sorted. However due to the scammers lifting money out of my palpay, which took money from my bank, my bank went into an unplanned over draft and I have racked up £120 worth of bank charges. I rang my bank (bank of Scotland) the second i got off the phone with pay pal to inform them my account had been hacked and the person I spoke to on the bank said they wouldn't cancel the charges and that it was paypal's responsiblity to cover them. Some how to me that doesn't sound right, however, after being on the phone to this person for 45 mins of him just repeating that to me, I hung up and emailed pay pal asking them how I could go about sorting this. I've heard nothing back from them, the charges are due off in June and I don't have a spare £120 laying about to cover them.
