I recently had a problem when I posted an item to Spain, and the buyer said it didnt arrive. Despite having a postage certificate and tracking number, when the buyer complained, and Ebay investigated, they found in favour of the buyer. CURRENT issue: I have just sold an item that was to be collected in person, and payment on collection. They paid via Paypal, which I would rather they had not, and now they want to arrange to have a courier collect it. My concern is, as I am new to Paypal and they will be holding my funds for up to 21 days, what assurance do I have that the buyer will not make a complaint that they have not received or not happy etc (when I suggested they come to view ans inspect item) that I will actually get my item? I could end up being without my autoclave plus the out of pocket expenses that paypal will incurred. I wondered if it was feasible to cancel Paypal and request buyer come to inspect, test, collect and pay me for item. I realise I will be out of pocker further with the additional transaction through Paypal. Any advice is very welcomed. Thank you.
