On or about 3 March 2014 I encountered difficulties copying CDs using Nero 7. I contacted Nero explaining that I had tried a variety of settings and different brands of blank CDs to no avail and offered a copy of the failure report. Nero’s response was that the problem would be solved by an upgrade. Nero offered a trial upgrade but then refused to let me download or try it without purchasing it outright. This did not solve the problems. In fact it made things worse as the new download interfered with other programs on my computer Nero “support” requested a complex and costly report submission before they would address the problem. Although Nero’s instructions re gathering and submitting information were flawed I was able to submit all the information requested. Nero ignored this and instead repeated the request for information. When this had happened 3 times I requested a refund. on or about 9 March. By that time I had been forced to install an alternative application to burn the CDs (I required back-up CDs for a forthcoming trip to the USA) and by 13 March I had no alternative other than to remove Nero completely to facilitate the correct working of the programs with which it had been interfering. When Nero failed to answer I submitted the problem to Paypal and they found in the Buyer's favour. Is Paypal as safeas it claims? And where do I go from here? The facts have not altered - I had and paid for a program that did not work and and I had and paid for a backup CD that never arrived,
