Hello, I am posting this from my new account that I created recently because for some reason I cannot login on my older account. The reason is probably the account's limitation. I have been a regular user of PayPal for a long time but today my account was limited due to a violation that I commited when I created my account. I was under 18 - by only a few months but apparently that makes no difference - when I created it and it is against the terms of agreement. I know it was foolish of me to think it wouldn't come with consequences and I do regret the violation and I want to do everything I can to correct it. Anyway, my problem is that my account is now limited and I cannot wthdraw or send money. This is contradictory to what I read in an email I received about my account's limitation: In order to protect all PayPal customers and the quality of our service, we take violations of our User Agreement very seriously. After further review of your faxed documents, we have determined that you were not 18 years old when opening your PayPal account and would like to begin parting ways in a manner that is least disruptive to your business. Please be advised that you can open a new PayPal account re-signing the User Agreement as an adult. If your PayPal account balance is zero, and you have no outstanding issues such as unresolved Buyer Complaints or chargebacks, your account will remain limited. If there are funds in your account, you may withdraw the funds from your account. If there are outstanding Buyer Complaints or chargebacks, and you choose to refund your customers, please log into your account and respond to each Buyer Complaint or chargeback in order to resolve each issue. To view the status of a transaction dispute: 1. Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account. 2. Click Resolution Centre on your Account Overview page. 3. In the drop down box on the Transaction Disputes page, select "Open Cases" 4. Click the "Details" link of the transaction in question to view the status PayPal reserves the right to close any account reported to be involved in possible high-risk behaviour. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter and regret any inconvenience it may cause you. Sincerely, Daniela PayPal * The email tells me I should be able to withdraw my money but in reality I'm not able to do it. I would very much like to know how I can withdraw my funds or if it's possible at all because there is a significant amount of money there which I desperately need. I am ready to close my old account and create a new legal account right after doing so, but I need to be able to withdraw my money first. I have contacted the staff with email but I only receive an auto-reply that doesn't help and I should probably make a call but that would have to wait until tomorrow. I hope someone here can help me quickly because I most likely won't be able to sleep due to the distress this has caused. Thank you for your time, Nina
