I had a few disputes over the many years I sell on eBay. And I knew these buyers wanted a FREE item by accusing us the item is not working. We sold many items on eBay over 10+ years. Anyways, this time again, the buyer wanted a full refund. So we asked him to ship back the item then we will give him a refund. That is the decision we picked and agreed on the PayPal dispute. But right after that, PayPal simply refunded the dishonest buyer WITHOUT him uploading any tracking numbers or attempts to ship back the item. He won't answer our emails anymore of course. I wonder WHY PayPal does that. This is 100% buyer protection but NO seller protection whatsoever. We have DECIDED that he has to ship back the item first... what now? I don't think he will ship it back because he already got his money back. This is unfair to us sellers. And if so, why did PayPal even let us check that box? Might as well let us refund ALL the scam buyers every time without them sending the item back. No difference.
I contacted PayPal, they simply said we can appeal the decision 10 days after the dispute closes. Oh yeah, let's see what will happen... Do you have the same experience?
