My experience of buying gift card, losing $700! Ebay seller sent me ebay messenge to sell Anthropologie gift card value $900, and ask me to pay $700 through Paypal this March. I was carefull and didnot send money to seller directly. I asked seller to send me invoice first (i thought Paypal charged seller' some fee so i can be protected, but not.......) After i paid, seller never ship. So I sent seller several ebay messenges to ask tracking number, Seller never reply!!!...Then i went to Paypal and find tracking number on transaction page, but there is NO RECORD on the tracking number. I felt something wrong and opened Non-Receive dispute case on Paypal. I alway thought i was protected by Paypal because i didnot receive item and even the tracking number does not existing!!! One month later, Paypal closed case and I could not get my money back. Shocked!!! How seller donot even ship but still can get my money??? I called Paypal people several times. Paypal told me GIFT CARD IS NOT PROTECTED NO MATTER WHAT!!! No Mattter Seller Ship Item Or Not! No Matter the tracking number from seller DO NOT existing!!! This is PAYPAL's USER AGGREEMENT!!! What can i do??? I suppose get my money back if item was NOT GIFT CARD, but i told Paypal it was gift card! I didnot know Paypal' Use Aggreement, I didnot know item of gift card is not protected (who pay attention on aggreement??)....There is no sign on transaction showing the item is gift card. But i didnot know and told Paypal it was gift card from begining. I think If i didnot tell Paypal it was gift card, i probablly can get my money back. Now Paypal insiste it is gift card so i am not protected!!! What can i do???????????????????????????????????Help Me!!! By the way, the seller have done this to many buyers on Ebay from seller's feedback. And they get their money back with Ebay. But i paid through Paypal, Paypal DONOT PROTECT BUYER!!!!!
