There are articles from victims - go look it up.   Its not my core issue...   PayPal is about Trust. That is the core offering, the essence of the product. Without that trust there is nothing.   People are not going to trust their money to a company that they know is ideologically against them or works against them.   You can take that statement to the boardroom. I defy PayPal to base a business model without trust.   FWIW Calls to ebay's account cancellation team are now being forwarded to other groups due to call volumes.   PayPal is also finding it necessary to mask some of the threads from the index. The other side of what? I'm not interested in "sides" I want my vendors out of politics. Period.   To restate:   PayPal has no business being in politics, corporate activism and alienating customers.   It is hypocritical.   I disagree with PayPal's political  interference, its war on Religion, its retaliatory tactics and the economic warfare it is now waging against States and their people and, like many, many others will no longer support PayPal.   Until they injected themselves into a debate that neither I nor the majority of people - regardless of their view - had issues with PayPal. I think the evidence is anecdotal based on the call volumes/hold times being reported in other threads on this subject, the length of time taken to respond to the series of requests required to close accounts, the shear number of PayPal customers posting here for the first time saying "I'm done with it," to the level of concern expressed by ebay and PayPal reps and the speed of its escalation based on their viewing this series of thread now totallying three pages.   The number of people actually able to find this board and thread to express their outrage is apparently quite small. Based on the level of disgust one could easily multiply those numbers by one or more orders of magnitude. For every one person here there are easily 100 who simply haven't spoken but won't be using PayPal or emptying what residue might be in their account.   We will not know the impact for some time and by the time we do know PayPal will be in most of our rear-view mirrors. ... Its not enough for PayPal CEO Dan Schulman to wage a financial and religious war on the American people. After April 30th use the search engine of your choice to locate this seller to receive the same excellent service with fast shipping you have in the past. Thank you for your business. ebay has been a valued business partner but without a PayPal alternative it is time to move forward."   I have added it to some and will be contacting ebay support to have them review it making sure it complies with thier TOS.
