Ebay and PayPal both are starting to have to much bull**bleep** for Canadians, Just like Face book keeps changing their minds. Since Ebay owns PayPal there are different rules for Canadians and Americans, the main rules are Canadians can't do what the Americans can do. And for everybody to know Ebay states that they record all their calls for quality control when you tell Ebay you record your calls for quality and control they hang up on you and tell you that you can not record their calls again more bull**bleep** from ebay and pay pal. and if you have less then 15.00 in pay pay you cant take it out. Regardless if your american or canadian you should be able to record telephone calls especially when you get ten different answers from ten different people on ebay or paypal what bull**bleep**.   Any questions feel free to contact me     We have to stick together and say **bleep** these moneyu hungry **bleep** who are taking five percent from the millions on ebay, which makes them billionares just think what would happen if a few million stopped using ebay I have been with ebay for ten years and now will be closing my account, well not really keeping it open so I can blogg how much they are **bleep**     cheers Stan Hall ... And me in Canada I can not use my American bank account because its located in Canada, and in the STates, but Americans can have a Canadian fund account and that account is in the United States. I guess different rules for Americans then Canadians   Cheers   Stan   ... View more

Honesty is not always the best policy on EBay and ...

Hi to all my cyber space folks, people, and or aliens that are reading this message that I Stan am posting personally. Firstly let me tell you this, my account is actually my wife's EBay account which she has had for ten plus years without problems, and or bad remarks. ( Except for one regarding a jerk ). Now me I am old and I don't like change, I don't watch new Television shows, Why you ask, simple they plug in twenty minutes in commercials in a half hour show. And just when you start to like a show, for example Boston Legal, and third watch. My wife got me to watch these shows, and of course I liked them and what happens either commercials after commercials, and or they stop the show altogether. I love to watch All in the family, Mash, King of Queens, and all the dirty Harry movies all old movies. Back to my point about honesty. I have made some mistakes when selling items, honest mistakes. My first mistake was just to mail out the item someone bought. But what proof do I have that I have sent them the item. None whatsoever. So here is now what I do. For example if I am selling a silver bar that weighs 1 Troy ounce I have purchased a scale and I take a picture with the silver bar on it. Secondly I put the proper postage on it at the post office I send it the cheapest way possible but still have a tracking system on the package. I even take a picture of me putting the package in the mail box.   I even go one step further now. I advertise shipping and handling charge is 15% or less just enough to cover what I have to pay EBay and Paypal. And if the shipping is less I will within two business days send a refund to the client. I ask people outside of Canada and the United States to send me a note where there address is and I will tell them what the shipping charge will be.   I take pictures, I take notes, I do all this just to sell a couple of items is it worth it? I sure enjoy buying crap on Ebay and at times selling items. In general people are honest but I have found that not to be the normal its the crooks that know everything, and we know nothing or not as much as they do. I have talked to a lot of real nice people on EBay and yes even I have made mistakes. One good mistake I always make is I can't figure out how to take a picture and put it on the computer and then find the dam picture I took. So at times I find one on eBay perhaps not exactly as what I have so I always say not exactly as shown in picture. I don't like that anymore so I have hired a kid to teach me things and lets just say its been a week and about ten or fifteen hours and I now know how to scan things from my printer. STill having problems finding the items I scan but starting to enjoy it more so.   In closing I really enjoy talking to people from all over the place on EBay and finding out other things about people, their country and lifestyle. So to all you new EBayers there are a lot of old ebayers that do help you out, you just got to ask .And to all the Ebayers that have helped me, gave me information, and how to do things and helped me Thanks to you all or all of you. We all do stupid things in life, but we dont need to be reminded of it every day.   last but not least be careful of what you buy, read the fine print and watch out as soon I may launch my own Canada BAY and its side kick called PayMeNow. Anybody know how to run or make this program I have regestered many different names. No just kidding I am not going to start another one. I am thinking about putting a kidney on EBay **bleep** I got two of them and for the right price I would sell one. L.O.L.   I am even learning computer lingo. ... View more

Can somone explain to me why Americans are allowed to have their bank with American and Canadian funds, but being Canadian I am not allowed to have pay pal pay my funds to me in US dollars to my US account. I am told they want me to transfer it to my Canadian account and they convert it for me I do not want this or should have to pay for this service. I would love an answer to this.   Thanks   Stan ... Re: Ripped off Paypal Debit Card information?

Is your ATM Card a PayPal debit card? if not if you have a debit card from your bank, just tell your bank you did not authorize it. I am unsure about American banks rules. I know in Canada we have very strict rules and regulations that banks dont want you to know about. And all you need to do is phone your bank and cancel your card and go to your bank and get a new card. No one can access your accounts with your debit card unless they have passwords, but what they do is have a camara at an atm machine and it actually you dont know its there it copies down your card number and your password, it happens here in canada all the time but the cops act very quick here, and the banks refund all the customers who lost money.   Now I have a questoin if anybody knows I am Canadian and I live in Canada and bank at my canadian bank which is TD bank I have a US account at my td bank in London Ontario Iwant to be able to transfer US funds from my pay pal to my US account I am told I cant ai have to convert it and then convert it back, and pay pal charges you for that. whch is crap. Americans can have a US acocunt and a Canadian account but I am waiting for an answer from pay pal as I am again Canadian and have a canadian bank with both us and canadian funds. ... View more

PaypaL and Ebay are owned together?????

Hi;   My wife has an ebay account for ten plus years without any problems whatsoever. I however never used it until most recently. I had bought a couple of Items and decided to sell a coupole of items. Here is what I have found to be most important to Me REGARDLESS, I think all you people should know this too.   I am Canadian and have a paypal account in US Currency. I have the money taken from my Canadian bank account and transferred funds to my Pay Pal account and its american funds form my Canadian account.   As stated I had sold a couple of items, However I never got paid, apparently this person bids, and never pays for anything he buys. I did not know this until sometime has gone by. So I emailed ebay and told them.   Ebay kept sending me a bill for almost $100.00 American dollars, at this time the US dollar is more then the Canadian dollar. I kept telling Ebay there was no sale and they should know this by looking at my Pay Pal account since they own Pay pal they can see if I was paid.   Time goes by no problems until I tried one day to bid on something I could not my or I should say my wifes account was froozen by Ebay. I of course called Ebay and told them what had happened and why did they not bother to answer my many eamils. They were charging me almost 100 dollars which was ten percent of what I sold, So to be clean the items sold were 499 dollar each so total was 998 American dollars. Ebays bill was about 92.00 US dollars.   thats a lot of cake to pay to sell something, however Ebay squared things away but prior I withdrew my or my wifes ok to take m oney out of pay pal automatically from ebay. Which means Ebay cant just take money from pay pal   Ebay cleared things up and we paid ebay the four dollars yes correct $4.00 or there abouts thats what we owed them.   Thought things were ok after that. I was also told which really upset me that as Canadian I can not have a Pay Pal funds sent in americna dollars to me it has to be in Canadian funds. Because I am Canadian but Americans can have pay pal deposit funds into their account either in American funds or Canadian funds but Canadians can not do that.   Thats ok it still does not bother me. What bothers me is when I tried to list something for sale I was stopped and told by a message "BECAUSE OF YOUR PAYMENT HISTORY YOU NEED TO MAKE FUNDS AVAILABLE TO EBAY RIGHT AWAY SO YOU NEED TO TELL PAY PAL THAT ITS OK FOR EBAY TO TAKE MONEY OUT ANYTIME THEY WANT"   Thats a bunch of crap I think. I had to allow ebay to take funds or change my pay pal to let ebay take funds out when we owe ebay money or if we sell an item ebay can just take it from my pay pal.   my point is simple as Canadian I can not have pay pal pay me in american funds. Ebay owns pay pal yet one hand does not know what the other hand is doing.   Let me know if you understand what my point is you can reach me anytime    In closing I do not thinks its fair and also eight percent is a lot of money to pay to sell an item, you have to purchase or sell something for about ten percent higher or charge it back somehow.   Cheers   Stan 100% Canadian and proud of it.             please let me know if you think I am right or wrong  ...
