I am happy to know I am not alone in this...Shirley Woodage tried to pull one on me too. I have been trying to sell my furniture on Craigslist and she told me that she wanted to purchase it and would be sending the payment of $1,000.00 PLUS $500.00 to cover the movers payment. HOWEVER, an email from a "Paypal" rep told me that in order for the funds to be officially transferred to my account, I needed to FIRST pay the moving company with a Western Union Money Transfer for the $500.00. Essentially paying my own money to give them what they'd receive anyway! I reported this to a Paypal Representative, a REAL one and he confirmed that this was indeed a scam. For any and all suspicious Paypal emails, send them to Spoof@paypal.com.
