I am trying to withdraw cash from my PayPal account.   If I buy a prepaid  PayPal debit card from CVS -- a "tempory card" and activate and link it to my PayPal account, will I be able to transfer money from PayPal to the PayPal prepaid debit card? Or do I have to wait for a personalized one to arrive in the mail.   Also, is it no longer an option to withdraw money from PayPal using Moneygram? It looks like they announced a partnership allowing one to to do that in 2013, but maybe it got canceled?  Can't find any more recent info on it anywhere.   Any help appreciated! ... View more

What about using the moneygram to get the money out?  Someone on this thread said that's what they did. Funny, when I talked to Paypal on Friday I asked the csr at least twice if there was any alternative to the prepaid debit card to get instant access to my funds, and she said no. ... View more

I'm in the same pickle.  Unreal. Called the prepaid master card folks first thing this morning. First person said they didn't know what problem is, but that someone would get back to me within 48 hours. I then called paypal, the rep stayed on phone with me to call the prepaid folks who said it was system wide problem. Unf****ng believable.  They and Paypal are happy to let people waste hours on this -- why not a message on their websites saying the system is down? I'm very disappointed.
