Hi, I had a message pop up when logging into PayPal today telling me that someone logged into my account from Manchester UK and that this seemed suspicious. It most definitely was suspicious, no one should be logging into the account but me, from my desk. No one else has access to my password and no one else should be able to access the account from anywhere at any time. There was no more information about this. I would assume that if it was deemed suspicious at the time they couldn't make any changes to the account? But I don't know, because none of that information seems to be available. I don't know if this was supposed to warn me of an attempt to gain access, or if someone did. I don't know if this person changed anything in my account. I don't know how anyone could have gotten my password, unless they have somehow hacked my browser (Firefox). I never click on anything in an email, so phishing would be pointless. It's annoying because it seems as though the warning only has one purpose, and that's to scare the user. No information, no remedies, no one to contact about it... Has anyone had anything similar happen? How did you find out more about this? Does anyone know if there's any utility I can use within PayPal to monitor access and make sure no one but me is accessing the account? Basically, no one but me should be accessing it from anywhere but my desk, I would love a way to ensure this but I can't find any utility to achieve that. Many thanks for any help anyone can offer.
