Hi, I use a different email for my eBay and PayPal account (used the PP account for business). I decided to use my PP to help with part of the cost and purchased two eBay e-gift certificates with 1, a card already registered to that account, and 2, funds from my PP account and a bank account. (I actually wanted to pay with a card for the second b/c of insufficient funds in that particular bank, but I haven't been able to reverse the purchase, and I have not seen the back-up card kick in yet... But that's another matter). I was not aware that you needed to use your PP on eBay to use the gift certs, and when I tried to log in to PP at the final checkout, it asked me to add the email address used on eBay. -_-; Sorry, it only gets a little more complicated from here. When I tried to add my eBay email to PP, it was rejected, possibly because of what I read while purchasing the gift certs, which said that the recipient needed to be a different email than the purchaser. I tried going back and reversing the purchase (a bottom note on the page said it was possible within 30 days of purchase to cancel the gift), but met an error message. I even tried making another PP account using my eBay account (didn't know at the time that was not allowed, I'm closing the account), but was again denied at eBay checkou, this time because of an error concerning the gift certificates. The sellers on eBay have been waiting at least a week for payment, and I've already received an email stating a non-payment case has been opened on my account. I'm doing my best to put the payment through and not get my eBay account taken down, but I think I've hit a wall. Please help, if anyone can!!
