I just had exactly the same problem when trying to change my email address. I logged out, logged back in and tried again and it didn't ask me for my account number that time. Why the inconsistency? No idea.  But yeah I'm relieved it didn't ask again because no format I was entering was working and it was definitely the right number.  (I'm a UK customer too.) I would appreciate an answer to this if anyone knows in case I get asked for the account number again someday!  ... View more
