I don't know I'm out 320gbp and no reply to my last webmail   I was thinking that as Scott Thompson is the President and Renier Lemmens European Vice president of Payal a complaint of "Electronic Transfer Fraud" formally made to Interpol against those individuals - with supporting documents from your bank.   The European Banking Authority requires that individuals named in such a case must be interviewed by officers of Interpol - it  may incourage them into trying  to help us.   ... I also have this problem -   The accepted method is to complain to paypal who will look for the money and say they can't find it, tell you to contact your bank and get a copy of the transfer in writing.   You then inform paypal that the money has gone to the correct account & sort code with the correct id and they will they will then say that papal has followed its policy guidelines and the search didn not find the funds and tell you that your bank need to try & recover the funds - which of course they cannot.   You then ask to confirm that the account number belongs to paypal - they will not reply, You ask is the sort code correct for paypal - they do not reply. You ask them to check swift/transfer records fot the transfer id - they do not reply   You accept that you have been ripped off and have lost the money - contact your Europ MP and complain also complain to the European Banking Authority who will tell you paypal is not really a bank and your up a creek with out a paddle      ... Good luck with your funds arriving because mine didn't.   I used the account number supplied by paypal, sort code supplied by paypal and an identification number also supplied by paypal and sent funds using OCT. My bank says that the funds were sent to that account number, sortcode and used the id number - Paypal says it has no record and apparently will not re-search using additional information I found.   I asked paypay is this account number a paypay account - no reply I asked paypal is this the correct sort code - no reply I asked it they have the swift transfer records - no reply .   The webmail system **bleep** and I have no reply from my last 2 messasges and there is no method of tracking complaints. The phone system does not accept voip - but I did talk to a nice lady at Paypal in the USA but she could not help me - So what now - I gave paypal 320 pounds and they get to say they dont have it and won't do another search using the additional information I provided -   I have no recourse and I am getting very angry.     ... I also saw this information and used this to send an OTC to my paypal account - This was on 8th Apil (17days ago) and no funds have arrived yet. If this is not a service offered yet should I approach my bank to attempt a recall on the funds. ... View more
