A few days ago I purchased an item from ebay. Long story short, I paid the seller (using a debit card) but his paypal was unverified so I cancelled the payment when it was still unclaimed. However, the money has been removed from my bank account. I know paypal says they return cancelled payments to your card. I'm just confused since my bank statements don't reflect any kind of pending credits to my account. I thought it would at least show up by now. How does this whole thing work?
