You're right Snowshoe, I'd forgotten about Monday Bank holidays. Yes, in that case if I'd asked for the monies on the weekend, (say Saturday) it will not show up until Tuesday. But my experience has been wonderful, from the bank to PP. 🙂 ... View more

Money Transfers

Just a note to mention that I read a lot of posts here where peeps are complaining about their money transfers to Bank Account, and the length of time they take. I totally get people needing (and deserving something that is rightfully theirs) right away, especially in the age of digital communication. But I have been quite fortunate to never have any bad experience with PP money transfers. The only time they are 'held up' is if I make a request on a weekend, then it takes until Monday to appear in my bank. But every other time I have made a money withdrawal/transfer to bank from PP, it takes 24 hrs. to appear, without exception. I don't know if it's my particular bank, Paypal, or the way I manage my account, but I will give Kudos!...to Paypal and their handling of funds. People should take the time to write the good stuff too, not just the bad stuff.  ... View more

Hi, Is anyone else having some strange issues with Paypal? Last Thursday I tried to purchase two separate items from two separate websites that use Paypal. Everything went fine until I was asked to log in and confirm that purchase. Then the screen just keeps spinning the blue logging in 'square' ....and spinning it, and spinning it. The transaction would not go through. I'd wait over 3 minutes just to see if it would go through. Upon refreshing the screen, Paypal would bring up new page saying I'm already signed in. So I'd go sign out and try to purchase again. No deal. I finally had to call one of the companies and make a purchase directly. The other I just gave up on.   It happened again yesterday, when trying to preorder something from Home Depot. I tried refreshing page after a couple of minutes of the spinning blue log-in 'waiting to go through', and it actually took me to a page saying it did finalize the transaction. Still a very weird, spooky experience, as this is my money, and I want it to have the proper pages work immediately...   And yesterday, I made a small withdrawal to add monies to my Bank Account. I have received 2 different emails from Paypal telling me they are sending money to my BA. The last one arrived about 40 minutes ago. I have never received duplicate emails on one transfer. Paypal also had duplicated a pregenerated email earlier in the day for monies I had sent to a friend. Two emails, one sent payment...   What is going on? Anyone with similar issue? I have just purchased shopping cart software. To get it set up, it wants me to 'enable auto return & Payment Data Transfer.' I looked in my mercahnt account, but can't find where this is. I looked under my acct, my profile, in merchant section, still could not find. Also, what is this stuff doing exactly? It would help me if I understood.
