PayPal now offers the buyer more security, by holding payments until the item has been recieved. This seller oviously doesn't agree with this. He has no choice though. The seller has to send the item, when the item arrives, then PayPay will release the funds. He doesn't need to worry about not being paid. Tell him this. The money is securely with PayPal. When the item gets to you, PayPal will give the money to him. Nether you or him can close your accounts while the transaction is in progress (If he is worried about that.) If anything goes wront there is the Resolution Centre. If he doesn't send the item, open a case in the Resolution Centre.
