I also agree that PayPal needs to consider using Google Authenticator (or I would be fine with a PayPal-native implementation of SMS-based 2-factor authentication so that we can use our smartphones). I've had the PayPal security token/keyfob for 2-factor authentication for ages, and I wouldn't be withough this added layer of security. But carrying around a special keyfob for the site is inconvenient, and my keychain is starting to become enormous. I know authenitcation methods using SMS/cellphones have their own problems/limitations, but I do think PayPal should consider this as an option. If not Google Authenticator, then something similar.
