PayPal wants your money all right -- just from your bank account or their credit card. they just want to get out of paying credit card fees. When I reach the 10K limit I'll get a paypal credit card and put it in the closet and NEVER use it. I wouldn't be surprised if paypal bills my purchases to that one by default... Another reason to use Amazon.com when possible which allows me to pay how I want.

As a result of PayPal's poor policy of grabbing from my bank account first I will have to delete my bank account from PayPal since the services does not respect my financial information. In the future, I'll also prefer Amazon Payments over PayPal when given the chance outside of eBay. If Amazon has n auction site I might buy there too.

So in order to get around paypal's garbage bureaucracy and still maintain a "confirmed address" for shipping from eBay I have to open a second checking account and put no money in it and then link it to my primary account so i pay no monhtly fee to the bank. That way I will get paypal's dumb and non-customer-focused payment hierarchy to bend to my will of CREDIT CARD FIRST as it is the proxy that guards my account? I guess paypal is not trustworthy with the checking account anymore..I just lost 550 miles so paypal could make make a few cents more. I think eBay makes plenty. 😞
