I hope this has been posted to the right board: I have never heard of Xoom.com until today when I received an alert from my bank that a transaction on my bank debit card by Xoom.com caused my account to be overdrawn. The money was taken, then the charges were reversed and the money put back into my account but it still left me with overdraft fees. How did they get access to my bank debit card number? It is a card linked to my PayPal account and I read that Xoom.com is affiliated with PayPal. Has anyone had any similiar experiences of this nature with Xoom.com?
