Download and install the PayPal Here app. Once the app is installed you will be lead through a quick application process where you'll be asked to provide some basic personal information about you and your business and asked a few questions to verify your identity. Once approved, you'll tell us where you'd like your card reader sent, select a few app settings and then you're ready to start accepting payments. You'll receive your PayPal Here card reader in about 5-7 business days. You can still accept PayPal payments before it arrives and you can manually type in credit card information or use the card scan feature to have it entered automatically. You can also accept checks, send an electronic invoice or record cash payments. Note: manually keying in credit card information or using the credit card scan feature have higher fees and is subject to reserves.* If your card reader is ever lost, stolen or stops working, please call 1-877-569-1136 and a PayPal team member will assist you with ordering a replacement.
