Hi,   i have  a case goingt through Ebay at the moment.but i wont go to deeply into it.just to say ive had no contact from the buyer and the refund they had sent and was being processed has failed !..what i want to know is..why arent the buyers funds held until the sale has gone through?..it seems the seller got my money immediately.but when the seller [supposedly] sent my the refund i had to wait until tomorrow for it to be processed.but i suppose with it being the weekend paypal informed me the refund had failed.and to contact the seller... ... well,she has contacted me through ebay?.. and she has asked me to request a refund .but i have sent her a link to show how to refund money going through history...etc.   up until now she has been a small buyer.this is her first sale and quite a big one.if i remember rightly when i first started on ebay my account was restricted for a while.   quick question...i already have a case just opened in ebay...should i also open a case in paypal as well? ... Hi,All.   i bought an item on ebay and sent the money through paypal.the seller has contacted me saying that her account is restricted.so she cant get the money [£350).as she hasnt got a business account.as she is only an occasional buyer/seller.so she wants to send me a refund.but cant find the option to refund me?   i have contacted ebay and they have opened a case on it. but any ideas anyone please? ... my moneys is till on the card as you say.but i want the pending status lifted.i rang paypal.and the woman i spoke to is going to contact Game retail.as they apparently havent cancelled the payment request thier end.but when i rang Game retail when it was first cancelled they said they didnt need to cancel it at their end as they hadnt requested the payment.as the item wasnt in stock. ... i placed an order with game retail a month ago.but the order was immediately cancelled as the item wasnt available anymore.so my money was left in a "pending" state.i rang paypal.and i was told that this would go back to normal after 30 days.and my money would just go back to my card. its now over 30 days and its still pending??..can someone sort this out this money is desperately needed to pay bills etc. ... I ordered something from game retail.and the order was immediately cancelled as it was no longer available. but my funds for it are now held as pending even though the order as been cancelled !!..i have spoke to game and they have said its a paypal issue as they never requested the funds.and the order was immediately cancelled.but when i rang paypal they said it was up to game to cancel it...which they already had done.and sent me a email to confirm this.so now my funds are held as pending and as far as i can see they stay there for upto 30 days...this is ridiculous.. i need this money £55 pounds but cant touch it even though its not been used for anything ...
