Hi, Hope this helps! I paid for a CD through Paypal to a new seller yesterday and got a timer emblem instead of the usual paid emblem which has never happened to me before. I contacted Paypal and got the following thorough response which shows it seems to be something at the seller's end of the process:- "Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding your missing payment. I have reviewed your account and it shows that the payment in question is currently sitting as unclaimed. I can see this is a worrying matter for you, but I assure you that I will resolve any queries regarding this matter. If the status of your payment is 'Unclaimed', the recipient has either not accepted or not received this payment. There are several possible reasons why this payment is 'Unclaimed': 1. Recipient has not yet opened a PayPal Account. 2. Recipient has not confirmed their email address. 3. Recipient has not registered the same email address to their PayPal account that you have sent the payment to. 4. The recipient has not chosen to accept or refuse the payment. 5. The recipient?s email address was entered incorrectly when payment was sent. I recommend communicating with the other party involved, as this is often the quickest way to resolve this situation. An ?Unclaimed? payment will be automatically returned to you after 30 days, if it is not claimed by the recipient. If your payment is unclaimed as it has been sent to an email address that is not yet registered to a PayPal account, you may be able to cancel it earlier by following the steps below: 1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk. 2. Click ?History? page near the top of the page. 3. Find the payment to be cancelled. 4. Click ?Cancel? in the ?Order status/Action? column of the unclaimed transaction. 5. Click ?Cancel Payment?. Note: You may only cancel an ?Unclaimed? payment that has a ?Cancel? button in the action column. If there is no cancel button and you can?t arrange a satisfactory outcome with the recipient, you must wait 30 days for the transaction to be cancelled automatically. "
