Hi there I phoned paypal, and also emailed, and have had no answer to my question. I received a letter (on paper, through the post), to a "john ford" at my address. It states that his "account setup is almost complete" and asks him to add his bank details to his new paypal account. I have had nothing delivered to my address, and no other letters regarding this person. No one of that name lives near to me. I called paypal right away, but the lady who answered told me that she had never heard of anything like it before, and that was that. I emailed the query, giving all details, but never received a reply. Is this some kind of scam?? Is it possible to set up an account using my address without me knowing about it? And why would someone want to do that? Any info/advice would be good! Thank you Amanda 🙂
