Hello, i will try to write in short points 1) I buy 3 pcs of electronic component (need it for repair flashlight for my customer) 2) I receive package, I spend time installing component, and I realized this is completely different electronic component (flashlight driver, it just looks the same), with altogether different specs (voltage, amperage, circuitry etc) Driver I reeived is not usable for any use known to me, for any flashlight, totally worhless and obsolete, speaking about 10 years and more period obolete (if they ever worth something, I dont know) 3)Ilook at the dx SKUpage again, to check if I maybe misread the specs, but I didnt. And below item description, I notice dx forum post about that item - and there - http://club.dx.com/forums/forums.dx/threadid.1301707?page=2 you can see that before almost a year, customers warned dx about that issue SO, they didnt correct that description for almost a year, they keep shipping worthless component whole time 4) I open a ticket at dx - ticket process is probably intentionally complicated, at the very beginning they ask 4 different photos and lots of other redundant things. I dont want to elaborate here what, its really complicated and redundant) They reply quickly asking more photos and showing they didnt read my first desctiption of the problem. They mention return and that I will have to pay for it. --------------------------------- SO, do I have to characterise these practices from dx? To me its clearly they want to wear customer and make it to give up from dispoute process. For something which is clearly their mistake, they were warned before that hey are selling useless product, before a year, and they keep selling it. But when its their time to correct mistake, they force you to pay return psotage (items worth is 10.80USD BTW - same as registered postage back from my country) I mean,, these selling practices are really from **bleep**. In any country other than china they would be closed. 5) My question is, will paypla force me to return these worthless items paid for (I paid for different item) , adn will paypal force me to pay return psotage? As I open paypal claim hoping I will get refund. Understand that even if I get refund, gull, Im still damaged. My customer waited for his flashlight to be repaired for 20+ days. And now I have to tell him - well, sorry, no luck... Will this customer bring some other flashlight to me to repair? Probably not... And dx made god knows how much money on tihs useless product, because customers usually dont know how to deal with them - even I dont know and Im on the market for many years, buying and selling.
