An eCheck is a payment that you make directly from your bank account. Just like a regular check, it usually takes between 3 and 5 business days for an eCheck to clear and the money to appear in the recipient’s PayPal account. Both eChecks and Instant Transfers are ways to pay with your bank account. With an eCheck, the recipient receives the money in a few days.   When you are trying to make the payment, you should be able to enter a debit card, credit card or echeck as payment.  If not, here's how to send an eCheck: Log in to your PayPal account. Click Send Money.   (You'll have to know the sellers email address to send them an echeck) Enter the required information. Click Continue. Click Change. Select eCheck. Click Continue. Review the information and click Send Money to complete the transaction. If you enter your debit card in Paypal as an alternate payment method, this will not happen again.   ... View more

If both emails are on the same account you should be able to see the payment. 1 st  - Make sure that your paypal account has both email addresses listed in your profile. If she paid thru ebay  to the email address listed when the auction ended and you changed your ebay email address to match your Paypal address - the payment is in limbo.    Check both email accounts and make sure you don't have an email from Paypal stating that you have been sent money and need to open an account.   She couldn't complete the payment and then she could? What changed? If you added both addresses to your Paypal account. and no payment is found, call Paypal   FYI - eBay doesn't frown on invoice payments, they own Paypal and aren't losing anything. Send her an invoice and tell her that eBay told you to send it. She'll still be covered by buyer protection ... View more

When you list your first item on eBay, be sure to link your account to Paypal.   Go to Paypal and under my account go to the profile tabs, then My selling tools and fill it out.   Link Paypal to your bank account if you want to transfer your seller money to your bank account.   List items with good pictures and all the information you know about your item to sell.   I find Sunday is the best day to list items and always submit the listing at night. It really does matter when the auction ends. example: if people are at work during the day, they can't bid on your auctions.   Good Luck ... View more

You are right, you need a premier account and you need to have it before you list items on ebay.   Some buyers will not bid on your auction if they can't pay by Credit card. The more bids on your auction - the higher the sales price.  It really shouldn't matter unless friends, family, etc are sending money to you for personal reasons now.   FYI -  Take good pictures and list all the information about your item that you can for the highest sales.  I find that the best listing day is Sunday and always end the auction at night. It really does matter when the auction ends. example: if people are at work during the day, they can't bid on your auctions   .Good Luck! ... View more

Email the seller again and ask when he mailed the item and if he has a tracking number. If he says that he mailed the item, give it more time to arrive. (He could have had 2 of the items.)  Then if you don't receive the item in a couple of days, take the next step & contact Paypal.   You can't file a claim at the resolution center if you aren't the "buyer" listed on the auction. If eBay has no record of your transaction,  you have to call Paypal.     ... View more

If I remember correctly, when I first started selling on ebay and receiving payment thru Paypal, they placed a 21 days hold on the money until the buyers gave feedback and Paypal knew I wasn't  trying to rip them off.   To find out if and how much money is being held or in reserve:   Log in to your PayPal business account. Click My Account near the top of the page. Click Pending Balance under the PayPal Balance section. On this page, you’ll also see a list of transactions that are being held or are under review.   If this doesn't apply to you. Contact Paypal by phone on Monday. ... View more
