Just be careful about mentioning in your ad that you don't want paypal used. Ebay will cancel your listing for "trying to avoid fees". They canceled a listed on me for that reason. I had a high price item on, (in excess of $45,000.00), and told people they wuld be responsible for paypal fees if they paid the full amount that way, and ebay canceled the listing. I have noticed more and more that if you use USPS.com to quote shipping costs, paypal charges a higher rate at the time you print the label. For example, I used the USPS site to quote shipping of $14.00 and $22.00 for two packages. When I printed the labels, the cost was $17.13 and $27.32. I talked to the local Post Office, and he told me, after checking, the cost at the window would have been $13.29 and $19.39. It seems to me that paypal is trying to make money throguh shipping. Not only does paypal charge nice high fees for some things, now it looks to me like they are overcharging for postage as well. ... View more
