Help please with dispute case

I received an item damaged, seller agreed to cover repairs. Sent receipt for repairs, then no com's from seller. I raised a case and asked to keep item with £15 cost of repairs.  I have since repaired the item, PayPal now tells me to return the item. For a full refund, this is not what I wanted. Seller has ignored all com's. What do I do ? Tried phoning help line, went around in circles. Please help. ... View more

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we get this situation resolved.   If you have any questions, or if this issue caused you to incur any fees or charges from either your credit card or bank account, please contact us.   We have reversed the erroneous transaction back to your PayPal account or credit card. If the duplicate transaction came from your bank account, we have placed the funds back in your PayPal account balance and are working today to move them back to your bank account. so we will have to see ... If Paypal know they have problems with duplicate payments taken they should be doing more than ignoring us.   If this was a real high street bank with a queue of complainers they would have to do something.   As this is electronic world they get away with trotting out the same drivel.   Its not our fault that some update was not tested and has messed up.   5 days to get money back that that has left my bank account already is wrong.   Then another 5 days to transfer it back after then is bad business.   Some financial ombudsman needs to get involved.   We can not afford to have the money gone without redress.   Own up paypal and get us sorted out - have the conscience to do the right thing ... Its OK to get the payment reversed but the funds have been taken from my bank account and the paypal system has put a hold on my money so I can not get it back - this took 5 days last time - then to transfer it back into my account another 5 days - this is not good. I have been charged 3 times so far - for me this was 8.00am - been trying since then to get ebay - I had 12 online chats that failed. It now says 61 minutes wait time on calls. I rang seller  - they said email only. I emailed them to say duplicate orders. the items are still in my basket on ebay and the items do not show in purchase history If they know its messed up why don't they take the site down and fix it.
