Call an ask for a supervisor.  Tell the supervisor what you want, and that you want THEM (supervisor) to help you.  They will most likely need to transfer you to a "specialist".  Make certain they stay on the line until you are connected.  Do not allow them to transfer you or it's welcome to holding hell.  If you are asked to be put on hold, place a time limit of say 5 minutes and tell them that is all you are willing to wait. ... Click on "contact by phone", go through the phone menu until you can get a real person.  I answer the auto attendants questions and say "help" after each one.  At some point it says "OK" and gets someone to help you.  At this point you need to ask for a supervisor.  No one else can help you, I know, I tried.  Explain to them you want THEM ( the supervisor) to handle your problem and if they say they are going to put you on hold allow it with a time constraint of say 5 minutes.  Make sure they stay on the line when they hand you off to a "specialist".  Don't let them "connect you" or you will be in a holding pattern forever with no-one to ask for help.  Good luck! ... I called to request help in obtaining a debit card to use my  balnce.  I guess they don't like you using your money.  The card registration  failed.  I called for help, after manuvering through the relentlessly useless phone menu, I finally got a person who told me THEY couldnt help me but could transfer me to someoone who could.  After 39 minutes on hold, I hung up to try again.  This time I requested a check of my balance.  The person on the phone had no idea how to make that happen and kept putting me on hold to "get further information".  the last time she came back on the phone breifly, then I got a dial tone and she was gone.  The third time I called I asked for a supervisor.  Now that may take 10-15 minutes, but it is worth the wait.  The supervisor personally got me in touch with the debit card people and I got the registration issue resolved (so I am told)  I think this is the perfect model for creating a customer service system to anger and frustrate your customers.  I have never had a big issue with paypal until I tried to remove my funds.  The smaller issue I have had is the "hold back" of funds from a sale until, well I don't realy know why they withheld the funds.  They just did it until the transaction was "approved".  I think my time at Paypal is coming to a close. ...
