I called to request help in obtaining a debit card to use my balnce. I guess they don't like you using your money. The card registration failed. I called for help, after manuvering through the relentlessly useless phone menu, I finally got a person who told me THEY couldnt help me but could transfer me to someoone who could. After 39 minutes on hold, I hung up to try again. This time I requested a check of my balance. The person on the phone had no idea how to make that happen and kept putting me on hold to "get further information". the last time she came back on the phone breifly, then I got a dial tone and she was gone. The third time I called I asked for a supervisor. Now that may take 10-15 minutes, but it is worth the wait. The supervisor personally got me in touch with the debit card people and I got the registration issue resolved (so I am told) I think this is the perfect model for creating a customer service system to anger and frustrate your customers. I have never had a big issue with paypal until I tried to remove my funds. The smaller issue I have had is the "hold back" of funds from a sale until, well I don't realy know why they withheld the funds. They just did it until the transaction was "approved". I think my time at Paypal is coming to a close.
