Hello everybody. I have made my very first sale on eBay and I can't complete the transaction just because Paypal isn't accepting my debit card, a Visa Electron. The thing is that my previous debit card expired (which was issued by the same bank, the same type, a visa electron, and I had linked it successfully to Paypal), that's why I had to make a new one. The bank told me that the card would be created in 3 hours, they called me 4 hours later and told me that there was an error with the system and they couldn't make it in time, so I'll have to wait 24 more hours (which would be today) and the card would get approved and ready to be used. Three hours later, I'm sitting on my chair, frustrated because I can't complete the transaction, and I get the following message when trying to link my debit card to my Paypal account: "You have entered an invalid number or partial credit card or debit card number." On the other hand the buyer messaged me and told me that when he clicked the "Pay Now" button on eBay, he got a message saying that the seller (I) has not created an account to accept payments yet. So why isn't Paypal approving my card, so that I can receive a payment and ship the item to the buyer? Is there a way I can temporarily have an account in a certain way that I can receive the payment from the buyer, but without transfering it to my debit card, but to my Paypal balance instead, until i figure out how to link my debit card to the account? To conclude with, is this something that Paypal has to solve, or do I have to contact the bank? Please I need help, this is my first sell and I want to make things easy and satisfying for both me and the buyer. Thank you.
