I'm thinking of subscribing to a farm-based selling community. They take a monthly subscription from participants. I'm fine with that but they are telling me that their subscriptions will be paid through PayPal with an echeck from my bank balance. I asked them why it won't just come from my PP balance. (I have not done any subscriptions before, but taking from the balance seems like common sense - why hop over a pile of money to get money from a bank account?) I looked at PayPal's subscription info and it *seems* to be telling me that PP will always pull subsciption payments (or any payment) from the balance unless the account holder tells them otherwise. The people wanting the subscription say "I understand your desire to pay with your PayPal balance, unfortunately we don't have the functionality built in yet." This statement doesn't mean anything to me since I've never tried to be on their end of receiving subscriptions, but....... isn't PayPal the one that decides how paying a subscription 'functions'? Am I missing something obvious? Is there a way on my end to generate a monthly payment that goes to them FROM MY BALANCE? Any advice or insight would be appreciated. There are ample funds in the PayPal account. I don't want the bank account messed with even if it's through PayPal. There's no need for it. TIA
