losing complete trust in PayPal as here too (see earlier posts or below) there is a post just like my problem. and instead of addressing the primary issue the moderator addresses the side point with an obvious reply. what to do about paypal allowing to addfunds and returning the money to the banks??? I have been trying to add funds from my bank account for the past 7 days!!! I used the bank account, sort code AND reference number exactly as PayPal gave it to me on their website and it keeps on being returned within 2-3 hours without ever having reached my account. I was told to wait until my bank account received the mini deposit and I confirmed them but it happened 3 times already after that (even though it was below the limit so I didn't really need to wait for that) CAN ANYONE HELP? (I called PayPal on the phone 4 times and the only help was repeat to me the problem I just described to them. one PayPal rep tried to give me a different Reference number for the payment because 'the one on paypal's website is wrong' but that reference number wasnt even accepted by the bank! only on the third call they said 'we will "escalate" the matter and get back to u within 72 hours". I have obviously not heard from them!) don't want to use the direct debit option becase it takes too long and by then I could complete several deals and earn more @Big-John wrote: Hi All I am trying to add funds to my Paypal account, the money was withdrawn from my back account and put back in account the same day. This is the option I chose; You move money from your bank account Using our instructions, go to your account on your bank's website to move money to your PayPal account. Please make sure the bank account you are moving money from is already added to your PayPal account. Funds will usually be available in your PayPal account within a few minutes. (However, please allow up to 4 working days, depending on your bank.) You have complete control over this process. I have now received an email this morning, but I think this a bogus email, strange though as I have tried to add funds and having trouble, this is a copy of the email; I have taken out email address and any account info or id. <snip> @PayPal_paula wrote: Hi Big-John, It seems the email that you received is not an email from PayPal. Although I do agree it is a bit of a coincidence however PayPal do not put links in our emails. We will always direct you to log in to your PayPal account separately. I hope this helps and thanks for your post Paula
