Yes, you COULD purchase your labels at a higher price from the USPS site, but if you lose this benefit of using Paypal over an extended time, with an increasing International market, then at some point looking at other methods of receiving payments would be logical. It's still hit or miss on the International shipping. Seems to be a major problem on the weekends, like someone is mad that they have to work so they're going in and creating these glitches. Usually, after messaging someone, for some reason it seems to just MAGICALLY work on Monday afternoon, perhaps after the more knowledgable computer folks get back to work. My son is a network and computer troubleshooting for a major employer and says it's all in how their hyperlinks are set up, and he could fix it with less than a half hour phone call with one of their techs.   I have an 8 mile drive into town to a little post office with very limited hours if I end up having to fill out the forms and have an actual Postal employee input it. It's at the point where the savings on the postage using Paypal isn't worth the aggravation of trying to get the label. ... View more

Oh, and also, when I contact Customer Support, I get the same old tired reply to clear my cache, try a different browser, etc...when I told them that I've already done all that PLUS attempted to print postage from DIFFERENT COMPUTERS, all I hear are crickets...no reply at all. They know it's on their end, why not just man up and say WE HAVE A PROBLEM AND ARE LOOKING INTO IT! ... View more

I AGREE COMPLETELY! I've been attempting to ship two International purchases off and on all day today and last night, and this "BETA" experience not only won't let me enter the customs information without bumping me back to the prior page as soon as I try and scroll down it and enter information, but it also won't allow me to switch back to the WORKING Classic setup. Seriously, STOP making the BETA the default shipping, you're supposed to test it with VOLUNTEERS who can work with you to get rid of the bugs, instead of frustrating your users to the point where they look for alternative ways to do business. I live 15 miles from the nearest Post Office, but I'm ready to make that drive just so that i can get my items out in a timely manner!   Why, oh WHY do businesses think that they simply MUST continously change and "UPGRADE" (especially when it makes it MORE difficult for users, that's NOT an upgrade) instead of just letting things that WORK alone and stop messing with it? I've experienced this problem as well, up till this weekend I too have been able to switch to the classic "experience" and print my labels, but no such luck this weekend. Hopefully it's fixed once the knowledgable employees come back to work tomorrow...or else I'll have to go back to just shipping straight through USPS instead. More of a pain in the rear for me, but I did it for years and can do it again I suppose. I think whomever built the Beta site was also the one who built the Obamacare website from the looks of it... ... View more

Gentleman in Italy made a purchase from my website using Paypal. I've attempted multiple times to print a shipping label but the Beta "shipping experience" boots me back to the previous page when I scroll halfway down the "enter customs information" page. Ive tried this on different browers and even different computers, and it still does this. Attempting to switch to the "Classic shipping experience" (which I GREATLY prefer over this new boondoggle, I swear whomever came up with this new "experience" must have also been responsible for the Obamacare website debacle!) all it does it bring me straight back to the Beta entry page, no matter how many times I try to switch back. Now, hopefully this is just a weekend problem and it's solved tomorrow, but seriously if this doesn't get fixed quickly I'm just going to drop Paypal as my primary payment on the website and just ship straight through USPS, the hassle just isn't worth it to me... ... How about calling customer service at (866)888-6080 and asking them to send you one for that reason? Look on the back of the card, the number should be there as well. ... View more

I've had the Paypal debit card for right at a year now. NO PROBLEMS in using it anywhere and everywhere, online or in stores. I've used it to purchase aluminum for my small business, dinner out with the wife on our anniversary, gasoline I don' t know HOW many times and many more. I earn cash back with it as well, not all that much but getting a couple of bucks back for spending my own money is always a plus. I do need to have them send me a new card as this one is starting to get a bit worn and some scanners are having trouble reading the info strip on it. I have terrible credit, so I don't know that they ran a credit check on me in order to get it, since it' s linked to my checking account as a backup funding.
