It saves you a trip to the post office. if you go to the post office you pay the same rate, but not sure if tracking is included, buying a green slip DC may cost you,I HAVE NOT BEEN To post office for eons,so I dont know. OK, So we are talking PayPal prices are 2 to 8 ounces for $2.60. This is printing and buying my lables via PayPal, and not Ebay or another vender. (just trying to clairafy everything in my head.) Did this change recently? I didn't sell anything last month due to being in the hospital. So this month when I did I noted the difference in Pay Pal postage prices. Was a notice sent out and can you point me to where it is? I am asking this because the Venue I sell on (Ruby Lane) Pre calculates postage when a sale goes through, and they invoice the Post Office Prices. (Example 1 to 3 ounces were $2.45) so the customer is invoiced the price of product + postage at Postal Rates. When we come to Pay Pal to print the physical lable, in the past it was always at a discounted rate to what we charged the customer. Usually a few cents. Now if it has changed...I am loosing out on postage until I get to 4 or more ounces. (Ruby Lane pricing) I see what you mean by what the USPS Postage Calculator is saying, $2.62 for 2 Oz. So Pay Pal is still discounting a little at least. I guess I need something to go back to my vender with and say hay, you need to change the calculators. Perhaps you have already helped all you can, and I will site USPS Calculator as my reference. Writing this out to you has actually helped me get it into my head. The rates changed At USPS and my vender didn't get the news yet. Thank you to all that responded. Your a great bunch of folks to have to turn to. : ) And while I am bothering you for answers. What is a Green Slip? Is this something only for eBay?
