I recently attempted to withdraw funds to my bank account but this was "reversed" and my account had a limitation applied to it. The account details were all correct and the funds never actually left paypal. Howver I have just noticed that the returned funds are £0.50 less. Why? I have checked the help centre and it states "Note: if your attempt to withdraw funds fails, PayPal may charge a fee of 50p in the UK to cover the costs of the returned bank withdrawal" As the payment was never actually sent, how can you charge me for it to be returned? It also states "may" so is it discretionary? As the limitation has now been lifted, and you will see all details originally submitted were correct, not only has the transfer been delayed I am now expected to pay for it. Can you please refund the £0.50 or point me in the right direction where it states you can charge me for you being cautious? Thanks in advance
