Hi all, I recently bought an item from the US(non Ebay store) that arrived broken when I inspected it at the post office(I am currently in Asia). I promptly sent the item back to the seller after reading that their refund policy indicates that broken or damaged items will be refunded 100% at their cost. I also contacted the store and they were happy to refund me as long as they receive the item back and inspect it first. I did buy shipping insurance for the item because of it's fragile nature. The item was sent back over 2 weeks ago and I am getting worried. I called the post office and seller a few times to enquire if the item has reached its origin yet but they have no news about it(the original tracking information did not update). If the item ends up lost in transit what should I do? Should I put in a dispute to protect myself(I have less than 2 weeks to do so)? The store keeps reassuring me that they will refund me when they inspect the item, but I do not know if I should wait any longer. Please help me with my situation, I would like some advise on what to do. Thanks!
