Hi Guys, i had a dispute put in for a plastic model that the buyer states was incomplete. It was brand new and sealed so if anything was missing it was down to manufacturing and not the fact it was incomplete when sold. Buyer wanted a £5 partial refund which i refused on the grounds it was a sealed model. Buyer esculated to a claim and paypal found in their favour and buyer was told to send the model back for a refund. We received a LETTER with the relevant tracking info asking for a £5 TAX refund !! Fortunatly the postie put it straight thru the letter box and we didnt sign for it or else we would have been signing for the model that obviously wasnt in the envelope. We rang paypal and explained this and they made a decision to find in our favour and stated no refund was due ( so we had won or so we thought ). Now paypal have allowed the buyer to appeal and are now with holding the funds again until a decision is made. Meanwhile the buyer still has my model and paypal could still give them his money back. Any thoughts on how this might end? Just got email from Paypal and they have actually found in my favour !! They said they have investigated the claim after i rang them this morning and no refund is due Blimey, the seller actually won one for a change !!
