Hey, just checking to see that I understand all the terms correctly for the business I plan to register. In order for my customers to have buyer protection, I will get charged 2.9% + $0.30 (since they are small purchases), regardless of whether they pay with a credit card or their account balance. However, this charge comes out of the money I receive and there does not seem to be an option to pass this cost along to the customer. Normally I charge just a small flat fee for services plus the cost of equipment for me. However, this fee usually is less than 2.9% of the total purchase. So it sounds like I will just have to mark up the equipment and service a little bit to compensate for the portion that Paypal takes? Is there a way to pass this cost onto the customer instead?
