I hoping an experienced user will be able to clarify a few things for me. I'm using PayPal to sell for the first time. I don't intend on using this service again I just have one high ticket item I'd like to sell. I have an interested buyer that is overseas. So as I understand the process: The buyer makes a payment to me. PayPal holds the funds. I e-mail the buyer and PayPal the tracking number for verification. I wait for my buyer to receive the shipment. The buyer confirms with PayPal that the shipment was received and then PayPal releases the funds for me to transfer into my bank account/credit card. If I'm missing something please let me know. Here are my concerns: if I ship the item and tracking confirms the parcel has been delivered, what prevents a buyer from just stating that they never received the item and they demand a refund. At that point should I just be sure to insure the parcel with the postal service. Will PayPal release funds once the postal service has confirmed delivery? It just seems to me that unless you are dealing with honest people, which you won't know until it's too late, you'll get **bleep**ed. Hopefully someone can reassure me that this is a worth while service.
