I am struggling to get some sense out of PayPal on this too. I am the Hon. Treasurer of a non-profit professional association, and I cannot get them to accept this as the status of our PayPal account. I have uploaded my personal documents to verify my identity, the association's bank statements and a letter from the UK income tax authorities acknowledging the status of the association for tax purposes, but PayPal say that if we don't have a company or charity number I must change the status to "individual" or "sole proprietorship". Neither of these is correct, and I do not wish to register with such false information. I have uploaded a letter explaining this, but just get boilerplate emails in reply which don't address the issue.   Is there an email address for PayPal that will elicit a personal reply? Trying to send messages through the "contact us" web page just produces email responses telling me what to do if I have forgotten my password, which I do not need and which are quite irrelevant to the questions I am asking them.   Do they have a proper geographic phone number rather than forcing us to use an expensive 0870 number?  I can imagine that it would not be a quick call to resolve this, and in any case I would like to have something in writing rather than relying on a verbal reassurance from a call centre operator. ... We have often had trouble with members wishing to pay subscriptions through PayPal who either don't see the little "continue" link or don't realise that it is what they should be choosing.   I have had to create a separate diagram with an image of this page, a red box around the link and a red arrow pointing to it, as a "help" page for people who don't know what to do when they get to the PayPal page.  I'm sure that PayPal must lose customers as a result of the user-unfriendly design of their page. ... I am treasurer of a professional body, and have to send subscription invoices to members, most of whom have business addresses, but pay their subscriptions personally. When I fill in both personal and business names in the invoice form, the invoice is addressed to the business, which is incorrect. Can we have an option to address the invoice to the individual, and to show the personal name first in the billing details rather than after the business name? The order is correct in the input form but the fields are swapped over when the invoice is generated. If this is impossible (surely not!) can we have an extra address line in which we can put the business name, leaving the "Business name" field blank? Will this give the required result? ... View more
