So after more than 5 calls to merchant services I'm totally at a loss. I call last month to link up my primary paypal account to child accounts. We have multiple business which all use the same banking but we want each one to have a separate profile, with email, logo theme etc. I'm told to create the business accounts with no verification and then call back to have them link to my primary account so I don't have to go through verifying them all. NOW, I'm told this can't be done.    I called Business Merchant Solutions 888-215-5506 and now after 3 weeks they say it can't be done. I'm totally at a loss. I'm told this is only available in the US. Another rep says no you need more than $30k in revenue a month and you can't call to have it done. We will call you. Again, no solution.   So what do I do???? I go and setup my 3 business with what?? 3 different credit cards to verify the account which I don't have. Other solution, I just use my primary account for all our businesses and they will see the same logo and information for every business even though they aren't related!   Never been so frustrated. Talked to so so so so so many useless people who couldn't help.   Anyone had any of the same issues. It's simple: I have multiple website businesses. I want them to be linked. I want different profiles for each.   I included this message from an archive. All the info stacks up, luckily they got resolved. I got hung out to dry!!     RESOLVED !!!! Change merchant e-mail address shown in customer receipt 3 businesses Feb-16-2011 08:44 AM   RESOLVED !!   This post has almost 100 hits since I wrote it ! And I'm sure more are coming. This information should MUCH easier to find as many of us have several businesses. When you call PayPal to take care of this, make SURE you ask for Merchant Services, otherwise you will get someone who has no clue what you are talking about !!! I spoke with Merchant Services. Following their advice, I removed the 2 email addresses (Businesses) that were affected, leaving my "primary" account intact. I created 2 new accounts from each of the businesses (e-mail accounts).  I then called Merchant Services back, and had them change the two new accounts I created, to "child" accounts of my "primary" account.  (The income from all three accounts will be reflected in your "primary" account, so you will still see income from all accounts on one easy page!) It takes about 24 hours for the changes to take effect. They will notify you, via the e-mail account used to create each new account, when that account has been changed to a child account.  Each account will then have it's own WPT (Web Payment Token), and it's own IPN (Instant Payment Notification). Not to difficult, once you know the proper steps involved. NOTE : I had several confirmed credit card associated with my "primary" account. I deleted two of them from my "primary" account, and when I created my two "new" accounts, I added one of the credit cards to each "new" account. That solves the "confirmed" issue you may have, confirming your address, since a credit card or bank account can only be associated with one account, and each account needs to be verified, by using either a credit card or bank account.   If this information has helped you, gratuities gladly accepted in CHOCOLATE !! ...
