This is really annoying me. So much that I might not even use PayPal anymore. Sure, its not that big of a deal for small purchases but when your buying something big on Ebay it really makes a difference. I bought something today, it was a really small purchase which doesnt really matter but I this is what I noticed: Exchange rate: 1 CAD = 0.500000 USD What makes me frustrated is that today the exchange rate is actually 1 CAD = 1.0037 USD! In the last 5 years the lowest the Canadian Dollar has ever been is 0.9314 in November 2007. Why does Paypal never have the correct exchange rate??? Who makes up these numbers. Paypal should NOT just pick a random number out of a hat and say, ok, this is what we want the dollar to be worth today. If you want to charge a fee for converting the currency that is completely fine... but show it as a FEE, don't make up dollar amounts. Our dollar has just as much value as your American dollar quite often now a days its even more valuable. Just had to get that off my chest, hopefully someday Paypal with end this madness. End rant. 🙂
