the same thing happened with me. On some sites, (i bought for over 250$, there was a fee that paypal took, plus an 8$ international charge in the end i had like 141 or something, so you may have 50$ in your card, but infact it could be something like 42 =/ I may be wrong, may be it's just me, so don't take my word for it!
