On selling an item on ebay 7 days ago the ebay site stated "Payment was initiated on XXX date and is being processed through Paypal". A further note invites one to view the Paypal transaction. My Paypal account has since had no mention of the transaction in any form (on hold, withdrawn, reversals, etc., etc.). What is the best way to find out what has happened? Do I need the Buyers transaction ID? Could the buyer have withdrawn the payment in some way after ebay believes he initiated it? Whose problem is it - ebay/Paypal?
