I recently purchased a phone for approx £300 on ebay, but because the email id of the seller did not seem working, for some reason or the other. I then did a Send Money, and trasnferred the money to him by adding this note : Hi <ebayuserid>, Since you had problems with your email id, as discussed I am sending money using your corrected email id. Please confirm once you receive the payment.
