I responded to an email I received from someone who wanted to buy an item I posted online. I felt it was a scam, so I responded to their email, and now I'm worried that I could get scammed since they have my PayPal email address. Can anyone answer this, I'm a bit worried now?!!

That's insane!! I have not received more than 2 texts from this person, but I have emailed them with questions. They just responded and are now offering $500 for my $140 item...LOL! Sounds way too good to be true, and in most cases, it is!! Also, when they responded this time, their email address included "paypal" in it, and when I hit the reply button, it was another email address that showed up...can you say SCAM!!!!

I just received a text on my cellular phone, offering me an additional $200 to ship an item to Nigeria right away, from Canada. Why would someone want to purchase an item for $140, and offer an additional $200 for shipping? They are asking that I ship it via Canada Post with insurance. Sounds strange to me also.

I have posted an item on Kijiji Canada, and just received a text to my phone, asking if I would ship to Western Africa. They also offered an additional $200 to cover the cost of shipping. I asked that they provide me with a complete shipping address, as well as an email address. They are requesting I send them a PayPal invoice right away so that they may process payment. Doesn't this sound a little strange, especially since the item is only $140, and they are offering an additional $200?
