PS I grabbed tis off Ebays stock report:   PayPal earns revenues in a range of ways: PayPal earns transaction fees when a Business or Premier account receives a payment or, in certain qualified transactions, when a sender elects to pay the fee in lieu of the recipient; PayPal earns a foreign exchange fee when an account holder converts a balance from one currency to another; PayPal earns fees from merchants who utilize PayPal's Pro direct payment card processing services or Payflow gateway processing services; PayPal earns fees when a user receives payments from outside the user's country of residence; PayPal may earn fees when a user withdraws money to certain bank accounts, depending on the market and the amount of the withdrawal; PayPal earns a return on certain customer balances, and ancillary revenues are earned from related financial products. Hey you guys...I just got off an hour long phone call with paypal. My case is weird. I stopped selling on ebay for about two years. In November, I started selling again. No holds, no holds, no holds. Then first of January, I get a holds email and my account is doing this stupid crap everyone elses is doing. So I read the guidelines yada yada ya...I need to sell 250.00 worth of items in 90 days OR 25 items. Well I surpassed that my first week of selling. I asked them why all of a sudden my account is being put on hold. You want to know what paypals answer was "My withdrawal patterns." I withdraw my money ASAP when it hits my paypal account...DUH!! Why wouldnt I? Who sells something and leaves their money in the hands of the payment processor? NOT I!! My second reason from FRED(And according to his accent, that is definitely not his real name) the account manager at PayPal, is my "Selling Pattern." because I started selling my used cellphones(ELECTRONICS). When you go from selling all clothes and switch it up by putting a DIFFERENT item, than what you typically sell, that throws up a flag. ALSO Feedback. You must maintain a certain feedback in a certain period of time. Like atleast a 5.0% rating for overall categories. Finally, my favorite if you have a limited selling history on eBay, which means that any of the following are true: It’s been 90 days or less since your first successful sale on eBay, or You’ve made 25 or fewer sales transactions on eBay, or You’ve sold $250 or less on eBay. What can I do to help get my funds more quickly? Typically, you’ll get funds in 21 days – even sooner if you follow good shipping practices: If you print shipping labels through eBay or PayPal, funds should be available 3 days after we can confirm that the order was delivered. Your tracking information uploads automatically, and you’ll get funds to help cover shipping, too.* If you ship directly using USPS, UPS or FedEx and manually enter shipment tracking information on eBay or the PayPal Transaction Details page, funds should be available 3 days after we can confirm that the order was delivered. If you mark the item as shipped in My eBay but don’t upload tracking information, funds should be available 7 days after your latest estimated delivery date OR If you don’t provide tracking information, mark the item as shipped, or the estimated delivery date cannot be calculated, funds should be available in 21 days. Please keep in mind that it may take longer to get funds if your buyer reports a problem. At what point will my funds be available as soon as my buyers pay? The best ways to get funds immediately are to establish a successful history of selling on eBay and achieve and maintain eBay’s Standard, Above Standard or eBay Top-rated seller status by consistently satisfying your customers. In most cases, eBay sellers with an established selling history and Standard or Above Standard performance rating in their eBay seller dashboard, or who are eBay Top-rated sellers, aren’t affected and will receive funds when a buyer pays. *Certain restrictions may apply   This all coming from PayPals NEW PAYMENT HOLDS POLICY. What i do not understand, is that I have MET ALL OF THESE CRITERIA and my money is still being held. I asked Fred before I hung up, how much did PayPal draw in interest last year for payment holds? You know his response? "Have a good day, sir."   SO EBAY AND PAYPAL: You give us these restrictions that we must meet and criteria that must be met but when we do the money is still being held? ...
