Just for reference,
What if what I am selling is a product that I can't verify he received, because its a virtual product. How do I know that when I give him the virtual product he wont just say that I didn't give it to him, dispute it and take the money back? This is an issue that is really is very troubling me, because while I still have the full amount he paid me, its just I have a portion of it in my papal and a portion of it being transferred to my bank account. Neither of which I plan on touching till this issue is resolved.
My friend warned me that he tried to do this same thing once, and the guy nearly was able to steal his product by disputing that he never received it. And only reason he was able to recover it was because he happened to be able to reset some information on the virtual product.
So when the buyer showed signs of doing the same thing, by not responding to me after I gave him the product. I panic's and reset the info on the product so I wouldn't lose control of it in a worse case scenario.
I have no money in my bank account and Im worried that if he disputes it will try to charge me some of the money out of my bank account, because some of the money is transferring over and I wont have the money in there yet to cover it. Is there anyway I can stop the transfer of funds to my bank account so I can just refund him? Or if he disputes will it stop it by itself? I am in freakout mode now.
I have full intentions of giving him the product, I just don't know if there is a safe way for me to go about this. Is there anyway I can stop the transfer of funds to my bank account so I can just refund him? Or if he disputes will it stop it by itself?
