I have been a member of eBay and Paypal for nearly 5 years now. I have bought and sold items ranging in value from less than a dollar to several thousands of dollars, and until recently my experience had been more or less pleasant. This changed last week. 10 days ago I sold 5 items on eBay. I received payments immediately for 3 of the items, while payments for the other 2 were delayed because the buyers were new eBay members with 0 feedback. I checked my Paypal account on Sunday only to find that it still hadn't been funded with the 3 payments I had already received. I was concerned as the merchandise I had sold was valuable, and had already been shipped at my own expense. I sent Paypal an email expressing my concerns, and my account was funded the next day. The other day I received a payment for the 4th item, and it was immediately transferred to my Paypal account. Today I attempted to use Paypal to make a payment of my own, and then found that my account was completely unfunded! There are no notifications as to why. There are no holds indicated, and there have been no disputes. The items I sold are being received by the buyers, and I am already receiving positive feedback, but now I don't have access to the money that was paid for these items.This is not the way I like to do business. Once again I have contacted Paypal in an attempt to resolve this issue. In the meantime I have been spreading the word of my experience in this instance.
