Logged on this morning to find the following had happened. 1 - a transfer of cash FROM my bank TO my paypal account for £1,000 had been initiated 2 - a second transfer of cash FROM my bank TO my paypal account for £1,000 had been initiated 3 - a third transfer of cash FROM my bank TO my paypal account for £500 had been initiated 4 - A payment from one of my regular customers for £200 had been refunded (payment made 3 or 4 days ago) 5 - A payment from another of my regular customers for £200 had been refunded (payment made 3 or 4 days ago) 6 - A payment from a third customer for £20 had been refunded (payment made 2 days ago) The first 5 events occurred this morning, so I changed my password immediately... logged on now to find item 6 has happened since. As my paypal account is empty, the refund payments are in the process of being transferred from my bank account to my paypal account, so, at the moment, I am not actually out of pocket... nor will I be as I have dropped the money from my linked bank account into a saver account just to ensure it isn't touched. I have emailed paypal to see if they could shed some light on it, but thought I'd see if it's something anyone here may experienced. For the record, I am an established ebay seller, top rated status, paypal account is several years old, all goods are legitimate, the customers are not even aware of the refunds being made... but even if there was a problem, I can't see why £2500 would be transferred from my bank to my paypal account.
